Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Florence, Italy while on a trip through Italy, France, and Spain.

Time

I was out on a walking tour through the city with my travel group. After lunch we walked by this building, I love the way it looked with the older architecture so I snapped this photo July 12, 2014 at 15:12.

Lighting

I wanted this image to make people want to look up so I used the natural lighting to capture the image.

Equipment

This was shot on a Canon EOS Rebel T3 with a 18-55mm lens. No other equipment used.

Inspiration

When I looked up at the tower I was intrigued by the design in the architecture and I wanted others to experience that intrigue. I also wanted others to see that sometimes beauty is not only at the ground level but also in the sky.

Editing

No post processing. This is the image just as it was taken.

In my camera bag

I usually have my Canon EOS Rebel T3 with a 18-55mm lens and my iPhone.

Feedback

Do not force the shot if it works it works, if not move on and try again.
