This photo that was taken at the 2012 Vivid Lights festival in Circular Quay, Australia with my first digital camera (Nikon D5100).Time
I remember the moment I took this picture. It was the first night of the Vivid lights festival and I was overwhelmed with the creative designs. This was the last image I took of the night, it was cold and it started to rain. I didn't think of bringing a tripod at the time and there wasn't anywhere I could let the camera sit on for me to take a shot. I quickly warm myself, get my camera ready and then I press the button, I held as still as I could for a few seconds and boom. This amazing picture got captured on the 8th June 2012, 11:15PM.Lighting

Scout around the area and find the perfect spot to capture the image. I almost didn't go this far into the festival because it was getting late and cold. I'm glad I did. So always take the extra mile to get the perfect image, it's worth it in the end.
