I'm lucky to enjoy views like this along a highway in the Okanagan of BC. Just beyond the foreground fencing is a pasture where cattle graze. Mid frame a creek and rail line run beside the trees. The base of the background mountain is a short 9-hole golf course with residential houses and acreages on both sides. The sun is setting out of frame at the left. The top half of the hillside has a beautiful sun-shadow mix cast across it. This is what I find most striking as I occasionally pass it on a drive home. I was happy to compose this shot on a brisk Spring evening day. This... is My Country.
