So, this was a little bit of an experiment for me. For the photography challenge Playing with light. I did originally have other plans on how to approach the challenge, I ended up taking a very different route. I was out photographing the stars in a forest, when my "assistant" started to get bored and began playing with the torch, making animal shape shadows on the forest trees. This gave me the idea to continue that theme for this challenge. However I haven't managed to get out at night to do this. So I decided to do the next best thing, I photographed my own animal hand shapes, and sort of stitched them together with this image of a forest I took. I turned my opacity down on the shadows to make them more shadow like, rather than a solid shape. I do like how the image is very different, I would have liked to have managed to get out and do some night time photography with this idea in mind, if I could go back. I do however find what I have created here very interesting
