Location
I took this photo while taking a stroll in Intramuros Manila Philippines. This place is one of the historical site in the Philippines. Also, this place is one of the favorite photo locations of new and professional photographers.Time
I took this last February 2015 at around 2:00 pm.Lighting
Natural lighting is the best source of lighting because its free and the results are best. Also, I don't use high ISO because usually I don't like the result (noise will appear in the picture). Experimenting on the settings based on the time of the day and the scene really helps me to understand more the beauty of lighting and photography.Equipment
I only have a camera and tripod. But I like to invest on a high quality camera, lens, and filters.Inspiration
Well at first I just want to take a photo of the wall and the building. Luckily when I am about to capture the scene, I noticed that the kalesa is about to pass by so I changed the settings and capture it this way. I like to capture historical places because I feel that I'm in a different world. Historical sites always give me different and unique emotion. Actually I'm still new in photography and this was one of my few practice photo session.Editing
Yes, though I'm still not an expert or a pro to post processing, I just do adjustments to colors, contrasts, brightness and all the basics. Someone told me that photos should not be overly post processed to make it somehow real. But I would like to learn more techniques on how to post process. In my camera bag
In my bag, I have my Canon Powershot (this is the camera I have as of now :) and tripod ( to prevent the shakiness especially when using long exposure)Feedback
As a newbie to photography, practice practice and practice is the very basic thing to do. Someone told me that high end cameras/equipment is nothing if I don't understand the basic of photography. As long as you understand your camera, you have the emotion/the angle/the lighting, and especially the passion you can capture everything you want and have the best result. Lastly, don't be limited in what you can plainly see but rather think out of the box on how you can capture plain scene to a something unique and amazing photo.
