Old water treatment plant in Vila Nova de Foz Coa, Portugal

Time

December 28, 2012 at 18:00 PM, near the end of the day.

Lighting

Was a soft light, perfect for what i wanted to do.

Equipment

Was taken with a Nikon D7000 with a Tokina 11-16 2.8, with Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod and Hitech filters, ND Standard 0.9 more ND Grad Soft Edge 0.6

Inspiration

The beauty of the place caught my attention, and after taking a picture without the human element, I thought I was missing something there to give an extra interest in the picture, and that's i decided to put myself in the frame.

Editing

Correcting WB, darken the sky a bit to give more drama to the scene and increased the contrast and saturation.

In my camera bag

My Nikon D7000, the Tokina 11-16 2.8 Tamron 17-50 2.8 over the nikon 55-200 and the Nikon 35 1.8 G and sometimes the Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro, polarizer and some ND filters formatt hitech.

Feedback
