Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in our bedroom and it was an experiment in light.

Time

It was late evening and I just closed all curtains to make the room as dark as possible and illuminated the vase from beneath by my phone flashlight.

Lighting

I wanted the vase to be illuminated evenly so I filled it with water.

Equipment

I took this shot using my old Canon Powershot S3 IS which uses a 36-432 mm equivalent zoom lens on a tripod; f8 and exposure time of 10 sec.

Inspiration

The vase itself!

Editing

Not that much, a little bit of toning.
