Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Franklin, NJ. One of my favorite spots close to where I live.

Time

This was taken at 4-5 in the afternoon. Sun was just setting.

Lighting

Late afternoon light is the best, especially if you are not an early riser like me.

Equipment

It was taken with a Nikon 3000, no flash, 18-55 mm lens. Shot on landscape mode.

Inspiration

I love waterfalls and landscape photos.

Editing

The original was in color but I thought it would look better in B/W.

In my camera bag

I carry three cameras, Nikon 3000, Panasonic Lumix, and a Cannon point and shoot in my purse. I also use my cell phone if I can't get to the others.

Feedback

I usually like to go to parks or just take a ride through the country side and look for anything interesting. I live in Sussex County and there are plenty of photo opportunities. There is a world of beauty out there, you just have to look.
