I omitted to suggest that, what if you 'cropped' this shot to take out the green leaves at the bottom so the eye can only focus on the main subject - the flowers and the butterfly. just a humble suggestion - no harm in trying and see how it goes.

Location
This photo was taken at the Butterfly Arboretum in Niagara Falls in March, 2015Time
It was taken in the afternoon.Lighting
It was indoors so I used an ISO of 400Equipment
I actually used my faithful point and shoot for this particular photo. The camera is a Lumix DMC-LX5. It has a lot of features and even has a wide angle lens.Inspiration
I'm an artist and was looking for inspiration for paintings. This shot happened to be one that I could paint. I think the composition is good.Editing
No post-processing was done.In my camera bag
I normally carry two cameras. ne is my Lumix DMC-LX5 with the attachable wide angle lens and the other is a Canon EOS Rebel XT with a 50mm stock lens and Circular polarizing lens I use quite often. I am still an amateur, but belong to a camera club where I am learning a lot.Feedback
Butterflies are a difficult subject to capture as they rarely sit still for very long. That's why we went the Arboretum to take some photos. There are so many butterflies that it is easy to get beautiful shots of butterflies.
