Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken down the road from my house from next to a prestigious hotel in the white mountains of NH.

Time

This photo was taken during the winter so the sun was setting perfect around 5 pm, I remember it was extremely cold but I still wanted the shot.

Lighting

I have to give credit to mother nature for the lighting, all I did was set my camera to sunset mode.

Equipment

I shot this with my Nikon D3200 DSLR.

Inspiration

I was inspired by this photo because It was such an amazing sunset and I wanted to capture it for others to enjoy and be inspired by. I used to live in the city so I never really took pictures of the sunset but up here in the Mountains you really learn to appreciate your natural surroundings.

Editing

I did no post production on this.

In my camera bag

I usually carry my camera, and an extra lens as well as a lens hood.

Feedback

My advice is to get away from the city and into the country where the mountains look so amazing that you almost think it's a Hollywood backdrop. I took this photo in the winter so my other advice is Bundle up and don't be afraid to snap a lot of photos because then you can go through and pick the one that really speaks to you.
