I took this photo in my front room...as I am a beginner to photography, I use different fleece throws as backdrops for my pets :)Time
This was taken at midday for the best natural light.Lighting
I used one speedlight on camera and a big piece of white card to reflect the flash, with diffused natural light behind me.Equipment
I used my Canon EOS 60D with my 50mm lens 1.8 ISO 200 and one speedlight.Inspiration
I love taking photo's of all of my pets, however Rufus is such an easy cat and loves to pose for the camera :)Editing
I did some basic editing in Lightroom 5, however I shoot RAW and these are much easier than Jpegs to edit.In my camera bag
I carry my 70-200 2.8 Sigma lens and my canon 50 1.8 at all times.Feedback
I would recommend always feeding the cat first so they are more relaxed and playful :) and have some cat toys handy.
