I drive by this road on my way to work every day and never noticed it until it was enshrouded in snow! Such a beautiful spot!Time
This was taken about mid morning I think. I remember running back home to grab my camera because I didn't want to miss a chance to capture this wintry wonderland!Lighting
The sun was just early enough to cast enough lighting into the trees so we could see their trunks and really made them stand out!Equipment
Canon Rebel XTI, w/ canon 75-300mm lens handheldInspiration
I was going through a phase that nothing escaped my camera's lens. I was very shoot happy!! I have a love for capturing nature and it helps me to find beauty in the little things that are around us which we so often take for granted. I try to capture not only the image but my feeling of being there as well.Editing
I did use lightroom to bring out some of the contrast so it didn't all run together but other than that nothing. In my camera bag
Now I have a Canon 7D and my Rebel XTI (as a back up only or for taking out to the field during harvest time). I have a 75-300mm by canon and a 50mm fixed - Canon among other things. My camera case is starting to look like my mommy purse! Very overloaded!Feedback
Always be prepared! You never know when nature is going to surprise you! Sometimes you can set up and then wait for it and other times it's just there ready and waiting for you!
