Location
It was taken at a small beach called Froggy's, Gold Coast, Australia.Time
I shot this sequence at around 9:15 am, time when the tide was high and we were getting powerful backwash off a rock wall. It was a 2.5 hour sessionLighting
Contrary to the usual "sunrise & sunset" rules for good lighting, I often shoot against a higher sun, which gives me a high contrast result with strong highlights and deep shadows. It also gives me more light when positioning myself under the waves.Equipment
This image was taken with a GoPro HERO4 in a SPL housing, attached to a SPL pistol grip.Inspiration

I carry a GoPro HERO4 Silver body, a spare Hero body, a SPL housing with front trigger, spare battery, spare memory cards, cleaning cloth, hand towel and wrist strap. Everything fits in a small Pelican hard-case.Feedback
