There are not many days with a beautiful sunset, so when the weather is fine you just have to shoot at the beach.Editing
I used Nik Colorefex (within Capture NX2) to make the picture pop: Polarization filter, Dynamic skin softener and Tonal contrastIn my camera bag
I invested in Nikon equipment. I bought an D600 with the kit lens (24-85mm) and a 50mm/1.8, 85mm/1.8 to use in low light and when a limited depth of field is required. I like to use flash in my pictures, so I usually carry 2 SB-900 flashes with me. Recently I bought the Olympus OM-D E-M10 markII to use during the holidays. I just love the EVF, that provides me with a good preview and review of a photo. So use it more often. For studio and more advanced flash shoots I use Godox equipment: RS600P, Witstro and V850.Feedback
Shoot manually and underexpose the sunset by approximately 2 stops and add fill flash to balance the light, preferably off camera. But when you have to work fast just use on-camera flash.
