Cineture Studio, located in Lowell, Mass

Around the late afternoon after 4pm

Lighting

Used a one-light setup (AlienBees B800) with a large Octobox by Paul. C Buff

Equipment

I shot this image using the Canon 5D Mark lll with 24-70mm 2.8 is ii lens. For light setup: 1x Alien Bees B800 1x Large Octobox

Inspiration

Was working on a levitation series

Editing

I shot this with two images and combined them in post. One shot just the background and 2nd shop with the "levitating" subject. :)

In my camera bag

It depends on the type of shoot and look we are going for. I prefer to travel with the gear nescessary to do the job.

Feedback

If you are trying to achieve this look. Have the flash shoot from above your subject to create your "shadow" and in post you can remove whatever your subject was levitating on. Haha!
