This has got to be one of your best. It is most certainly the best of yours I have seen yet. Great, great shot! I really love your work.

I have to give it to you, this work is masterfully crafted. The bodypaint, the lighting, and the location. Something reminding of the "ashes and snow" by Gregory Colbert (check that out!)

I just wanted to leave a quick note to say thank you for participating in my "Portraits on Location" challenge. While I ultimately chose another photo as the winner, this one was one of my 100 favorites in a field that was just shy of 2000 entries.

Location
This photo was taken in Samphanbok = (tree thousand wholes), Ubon Ratchathani in Thailand. A beautiful place up north close to Laos. The place is like a playground for photographers. I took this picture under the dry season when the ground is very cracked.Time
We woke up really early to walk to the location that took about 1 hour and we manage to see the beautiful sunrise over Mekong River that is Thailands border to Laos. The picture was taken at 08:04. The MUA, her crew, and the model had been up many hours before to do the body painting, styling, and the makeup. When the sunrise the temperature rise and it was like 38 degrees C around noon.Lighting
Natural light and reflectors.Equipment
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, handheld, f2.8, 70/200, Focal length 70mm What inspired you to take this photo?Inspiration
The light, the location, and the fantastic body painted model inspired me. I have been to the same location before and couldn't wait to do this shoot on this spectacular place on earth. Responsible for the Makeup/Hair/Styling/Concept is Hilde Marie Johansen from Norway, living in Bangkok. She is the most creative person I know and a big inspiration to me.Editing
I love post-processing. When I'm shooting, I'm always looking forward to sitting down with my Photoshop and I'm always thinking about what "expression" I want my pictures to have and what story to tell. Together with Photoshop, I also use Nik Collection. In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mark III, 24-70 mm, 85mm, 100mm. Extra memory cards and batteries, towel, mosquito repellent, and the most important when I shoot in this environment: WaterFeedback
I travels to "strange" places, I experience people from different cultures and something very important, I meet people with the same interest as me, Photos .... it's a happy process.
