Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a Canada Day Celebration in Beaconsfield Quebec which is at the western part of Montreal Canada.

Time

This photo was taken around 1:00 pm in the afternoon.

Lighting

The sun was trying to break through the clouds but it was mostly overcast.

Equipment

This photo was taken with a Canon T3I with an 18 - 200 Canon lens. No flash or tripod I was holding the camera. I was shooting in action mode in JPEG.

Inspiration

It was a great action of young dancers having fun doing what they enjoy doing. Also the color contrast on their outfits caught my attention.

Editing

Photo shoot in JPEG

In my camera bag

Canon T3I, 18 -200 Canon Lens, 10 -20 Canon Lens, Canon Speedlight Flash 430EXII

Feedback

Take 2 steps back and don't focus on just one person try to get the whole group. Also try to capture their facial expression and don't worry about what their feet are doing. Have fun with your camera and be creative. Chad from Montreal Canada.
