With all newborn photography my best advice is to be patient. Give yourself and your client plenty of time. Working in a home, i find the best light. I start with newborn & sibling poses. Moving on to family portraits. There is then some quiet time of feeding and cuddles before moving into newborn poses. This is where i take my time. Once baby is in a position and settled, i will shoot every angle before moving on to the next pose. Number one for me is not leaving the family at the end of my job with an unsettled baby.
