This photo was taken in my backyard one morning. I am a self taught photographer and tend to focus on nature. I love getting caught up in the beauty of nature and how the simplest things can just take my breath away like the dew on the leaves and the rose buds.Time
This photo was taken shortly after dawn the morning of the dawn service parade that my son and I attend every year.Lighting
The dawn that day was spectacular, I remember spending an hour or so playing with my camera in my garden.Equipment

I remember thinking that the light catching the dew drops on the roses was the perfect picture of a fresh new day.Editing
I tend to leave most of my photos as they are taken with minimal processing with the exceptions of cropping.In my camera bag
