I actually just used a cheap digital camera for this shot it was all I had available at the time. I did not use a tripod and I did not take the picture with a flash.Inspiration
I was outside trying to get in an early morning run down the road to my grandparents second pasture. The way the sunrise lit up the scenery around me just took my breath away, so I ran back to the house and grabbed my camera to capture some pictures of it.Editing

I guess it's actually quite simple. I just got up before day break and as I walked along I found an interesting subject, and I captured it by using the rule of thirds. The soft sunrise in the background provided my lighting source and made interesting colors pop out.
