Location
This photo was taken on old abandoned hotel near my home, at this time i had no money, so we had to walk to the place.Time
We had taken this photo around 5.pm, on a hot summer day in 2013Lighting
As the sun has still to bright, i had to use a flash on remote mode, to brighten the model.Equipment
This was shot taken with a poor man setup: Canon 500D with the kit lens 18-55mm, a Nissin Di622 MarkII, and, nothing else.Inspiration
I can't say that i was inspired to take this photo, we where taking some silhouette photos and then took some with the flash, and ended up taking this one when she wasn't ready for it.Editing
i added some sharpening to the eyes and adjustment filter from kodak or fujifilm that where new at the timeIn my camera bag
At that time i had very little equipment,"the poor man set-up", I had a backpack from logicase with the Nissin Flash, a 75-300mm, the 18-55mm a 500D a home made shutter release, a 30€ tripod from Bilora and some MicroSD cards and adapters for storage. Now i use "the not so poor sett-up" A Samsonite one shoulder bag, with a 750D, a 18-55mm, a 75-300mm, the Nissin Flash, a Yongnuo 50mm, a rollei Tripod, UV filters for the 58mm lens, SD cards, a tablet (for remote shooting), the cleaning kit, a car windows sun reflector, a plastic bag and toilet paper (always handy to have this two)Feedback
This is a basic photo and simple to remake, Just needs a door frame, or a window with back light, if you have at your dispose some one to help, use-it to direct the reflector instead of the flash.
