I took this photo outside of Booker, TX traveling home from my Dad's. As you can see, it was a stormy summer day. The cloud formation across the wide open grassland was breath taking to me and I had to take some photos.Time
After driving for several hours it was nice to take an afternoon break to stretch my legs. This was around 4-5 p.m.Lighting

I shot this with my Nikon Coolpix P510Inspiration
The beauty of the lighting and scenery was amazing. It was such a serene yet powerful moment. Everything was calm, but you could tell that chaos was on the way.Editing
I cropped this and enhanced the shadows. In my camera bag
It depends on which bag! I normally have my Nikon Coolpix P510 and several batteries. I also carry my Nikon D3300 with my 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses.Feedback
The weather can change in the blink of an eye. If you see a cloud or storm that you think is photo worthy. Get your gear out as quick as you can and start taking photos. Don't second guess yourself. Don't delete things until you've had time to really review them on your computer. It's amazing what you can capture.
