This photo was taken near the Iowa/Missouri borders. There were so many pretty lilies there. I love pretty flowers in a natural setting.Time
It was an afternoon shot. These lilies were growing in the shade and the sun, but I think I got full sun on these.Lighting
This was such an easy shot. The sun was out bright.Equipment
I used the camera EOS Digital Rebel XSi for this shot. I also have a Sony Cyber-shot (8 mega pixels, 7 times optical zoom,DSC-F828) and for a few weeks now I have a Canon EOS 50D camera.Inspiration
I just really like the beauty that is all around us. So many times we just pass by these scenes without ever knowing what we missed. Until people see a photo, they can't believe they have been driving or walking passed these things and never gave them a thought.Editing
I just took the photo as what I seen at the moment. There is no altering on this photo.In my camera bag
At the time of this photo I didn't carry a bag. Now that I have the 50D I seem to carry the bag so I can have the Rebel with me as well. Now I usually use the Canon 28-135mm lense on the 50D. It gives me a choice of close up or a very far away view. I don't have a lot of lenses to carry around. Equipment is so expensive and slowly but surely I am getting a little more equipment.Feedback
Just start noticing what is around you. You don't have to go far to see all this beauty.
