Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my dining room with a pop up studio before I had my own studio.

Time

It was the evening time as I couldn't black out daylight.

Lighting

This photograph was taken with a mid range camera, with the cheapest lighting set I could find when I was starting out. I think it proves that you don't have to break the bank!

Equipment

Canon 600d, 18-55mm lense none branded studio flash

Inspiration

I love playing with deep shadows and adore the noir style.

Editing

Other than to turn the image black and white and deepen the shadows no other post processing was done.

In my camera bag

I have recently invested in a mirrorless system Olympus OMD for travelling out and about.

Feedback

Keep it simple! Don't over complicate anything...have fun and play with everything until you get the image you want.
