Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my sister's room in the house she used to live in a few years back. I had just reacquainted myself with my camera after a few months hiatus and was really excited to be taking pictures again. We had gotten my mum this beautiful little fairy light house for Christmas the previous so I thought why not take a pic with the candle actually burning. After closing all the curtains and shifting it around I got the perfect position and clicked.

Time

It was in the afternoon but I had the curtains closed to darken the place.

Lighting

Not really. I just take lots of pictures. I feel like if I cannot take a good picture to begin with, without tinkering with it then I'm not a very good photographer.

Equipment

I just used my Canon camera

Inspiration

I honestly just wanted to take a beautiful photo and I tried with different objects but this one really stood out.

Editing

Nope.

In my camera bag

I just have my Canon 1100D and a tripod.

Feedback

Take whatever objects you think are interesting and move them around. Take hundreds of pictures. It doesn't matter if it makes sense to anyone else as long as you know what you're trying to achieve.
