This was taken at Lake Tahoe, on the Nevada side, near Sand Harbor.Time
In the middle of the afternoon, around 3 PM. It was close to the winter solstice, so sun angles were low.Lighting
The quality of light was changing every minute, from sunny to cloudy to snowing. Watching for good light was part of the fun.Equipment
This was taken with a Nikon Coolpix P80 compact camera, hand held with the lens setting at 56 mm equivalent at F8.0 (aperture priority), 1/290 sec, and ISO 64.Inspiration
