I took this photo near Gornergrat at Riffelsee. It shows the world famous Matterhorn.Time
It was about 10am on a nice fall day.Lighting
What shall I say about lightning? One of the best times during a year is to take a picture in fall. The days are getting shorter and the countryside changes its colour.Equipment
I used a Manfrotto tripod and the D700 with 28-70mm 2.8 lens.Inspiration
It is one of the most photographed mountains in Switzerland. I wanted to have a look if I was able to take a great photo of this place / countryside.Editing
I didn't need to do any postprocessing.In my camera bag
Usually I go on photo trips with my Nikon D800 (I exchanged the D700), a tripod and the 24-70mm lens. Sometimes I carry some LEE filters with me, like the BigStopper.Feedback
Get up early, look at the weather forecast for some clouds, but not to many, have patience and some luck and it will work out!
