Location
In the valley just below Machu Pichu, PeruTime
Late afternoonLighting
Taken in deep jungle like conditions near the valley floor in the spectacular river valley ( Royumba Valley) running round the foot of Machu Pichu. Alongside a path built by the Incas were dwarf or orchids and tiny fungi growing on rotting tree trunks. If interested see my Flickr Album, Machu Pichu and Royumba Valley.Equipment
Canon 7D , 18-55 lenseInspiration
The conditions in the valley bottom were hot and humid; so very different from the Machu Pichu of the tourists. The narrow slippery path went through a tropical garden with dwarf plants poking out from under huge grren leavesEditing
No apart from fiddling a bit in LightroomIn my camera bag

Without a tripod , find something solid to try and lean against to take a steady shot. Up the ISO to enable higher shutter speed to be used
