This was taken shortly after our captain snaked his way through mangroves and slipped into a deserted bay somewhere in the San Blas archipelago. It’s hard to describe the sense of deep peace that ensued after a month spent on the boat. The wind provided a constant background noise and our day was controlled by the swell and lull of the sea.
