Becontree Heath functioned as the ancient meeting place for Becontree hundred, which covered much of what is now East London. In 1465, the hundred lost territory in the east and the meeting place became located on its fringe.[1] When it was still a rural parish, Becontree Heath was a hamlet in Dagenham.

Location
It was taken in london borough of barking and Dagenham.Time
Can't remember exact time, But it wasn't long after sunset. one of the best times for night photography.Lighting
Taking the photo deep into the night with a black sky would not have worked. It needed the blue of the night sky with the added benefit of having the building lit by its own lights. MagicalEquipment
I use a 7d and a 8mm fisheye.Inspiration
I been driving past this building for years and always wanted to get a photo of it. But i did not have a wide another lens until i got myself a fisheye. And that was the time to get the shot that i always wanted. But it couldn't be just rolling up and taking a photo, It had to look great. And that time was at twilight to get the blue of the sky with the building being lit by its light. And for me that's what inspired me to take the great building at that time.Editing
I used a darker image for the lights of the building to layer in to help with the blown out building lights. In my camera bag
7d and 8mm fisheyeFeedback
Building taken at twilight is the best time, Just after sunset. For me one of the best times of the day to take photo of something with the deep blue of the sky.
