As an ex Paratrooper, having served for 24 years (1981 - 2005) I appreciate this portrait of a veteran and like what you have done with it, but by way of advice (and not criticism) the cap badge should be silver. Any portrait should centre (focus) on the eyes, and these have been captured magnificently, dark,, reflective and with many hidden secrets and stories but the boldness of the gold detracts from the eyes.
