This photo was taken in Mysore, Karnataka, India. It was when I was attending the International Earth Science Olympiad in the year 2013Time
Probably the best time of the day for most photographers who use natural lighting. It was just before sunset, and the light was fooling out nicely, despite the hazy clouds that made the sun act like a diffused source.Lighting
Natural lighting, plain and simple. It was almost a chance-click, so to say. Because the clouds and the 5 o'clock sun had built it up just rightEquipment
Well. Just my good old point and shoot. Sony Cybershot W310.Inspiration
The bee was so interesting... And the zinnia beautifully coloured! Who could help wanting to capture the moment?Editing
Nope, not much. Just the white balance, I think. That too on the camera itself, as soon as the photo was clickedIn my camera bag
Currently I always carry my Nikon AW130 wherever I go. Shockproof, waterproof, super-lightweight, make it amazingly portable. Plus it's extremely convenient and robust. I love it for the macro shots.Feedback
Keep your equipment with you. Wherever you go, always have a camera along. Even if it's just a phone camera or a point and shoot. You never know when the moment is going to happen like you want it to. So it's best to be prepared and ready at all times.
