I was walking in our garden, in the afternoon, after a small rain shower, and saw the waterdrops on the flower. I could not resist to take a pictureLighting
there was no special lightning, I only watched that I was not standing in my own schadow, natural lighting is the best.Equipment
the photo was taken free handed, with my old fujifilm S3300 standard camara, no flash, no tripod, only a stady handInspiration
My insparation was the waterdrops on the flower, it gives it a special look, also the different sizes of the waterdropsEditing
the only post-processing of the picture was cropping it to a smaller sice, in order to emphasize the waterdropsIn my camera bag
I have in my bag a Canon D700 with a 18-135 lens, and some spare memory cards, I like to keep it simple, you do not need a whole store of equipment to take a nice picture, your eyes are the best equipment.Feedback
If you want to take a nice picture, you do not have to travel far, your own back yard can be a nice place to take a fine picture, just keep your eyes open, and you will see for your self, the best pictures are in front of you, this phote was taken with a standard fujifilm S3300 camera, so it is not always necessary to have an expensive camera, it is the person behind the camera wich is important.
