Location
This photo was taken while on a road-trip around Iceland. This particular image is taken in West Iceland - on of the most remote and beautiful places on earth! This house with a view seemed like a little paradise in this Oasis of North!Time
In July in Iceland is almost 24 hour daylight, with long hours long sunsets at midnight that seamlessly turn into sunrises, with no nightfall in between. It becomes perfect to travel through Iceland at any time of day, being able to experience amazing landscapes and take wonderful pictures at any given moment. This image was taken at around 5 in the afternoon, but really could have been taken at 5 o clock in the morning!Lighting
Natural light of forever sun in summertime Iceland makes it perfect for photography. Golden light of the sun kissing the valley was a view not to pass.Equipment
This was shot on a Sony Alpha 6000 with 16-50mm Sony lens, no other additional equipment.Inspiration
Iceland is full of inspiration, it takes your breath away behind every curve of the mountain and every turn of the road. This place seemed like a perfect presentation of everything that people don't know about Iceland. It was like turning a stereotype around. I wanted to show - Iceland actually is sunny, green, vibrant and so alive!Editing
To be honest nature played its charms on its own. A touch of vibrance and contrast just helped bring out the natural beauty of Nature itself. In my camera bag
I am still at the beginning of the path of being a photographer i want to be , so for now there are only 3 pieces in my bag. Sony Alpha 6000 itself, and both 16-50mm and 55-210mm lenses.Feedback
It's all about getting it right..about your senses. You want to pass that feeling to the viewers of your image, like teleporting them through time to this place, letting them experience it on their own.
