In this piece the apple is enveloped with the mystical magics of time, death, immortality and most of all temptation.
Apples…
The apple is a very rich symbol. Temptation is the first one that springs to mind. A very rich, and very old, image is that of a skeleton holding an apple: the temptations-sins that lead to death.
It is also said that the apple is symbolic of immortality and reincarnation and it represents the cycle of life, death and rebirth.

Work created using a Nikon D90 and a Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro @f8 for 6 seconds.
