Extreme macro un-cropped honeybee portrait.
Rather than focus stacking to achieve tack sharp images, I lean towards an artistic approach using extreme magnification to grab just enough details for interest but not so many that the image looks "scientific".This requires being extremely close to the subject, which shortens the depth of field to next to none and magically blurs the surroundings.
