Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a beach very close to the ancient temple of Sounion in Greece

Time

It was the last photo taken this day, after a next day location shooting. The sun had set about an hour ago and the moon was just above the couple kissing

Lighting

I had my assistant holding a flash just behind the couple, strangling to hold it up right..

Equipment

I used a Canon 5d III, 24-105 lens and a Speedlite 600ex-rt

Inspiration

i just loved the moon behind the couple kissing and i tried to keep it within the frame..

Editing

I increased the blacks and helped the light line around the couple just a bit. Also had to remove some street lights from the back

In my camera bag

Canon 5d III, 24-105mm, 14mm, Macro, a tripod and a flash

Feedback

I had a couple more occasions that i wanted to keep the view (like a lighthouse or a lighted building), behind my object and just keep the lines of it. Setting a led or a flash light behind it, will do the work. My settings were ISO at 1250, f/9 and 1/60sec at 105mm focal length
