Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a camp I used to work at in the shop on the property. I was just playing around with things lying around. When I uploaded this photo I loved how it looked like robot, it reminded me of wall-e.

Time

This was taken around mid morning. During summertime, during my exploring of things that are rusty and just random. I didnt use a tripod since it was more just explore and capture, no staging just point and shoot. I really enjoyed looking and finding the random things to shoot.

Lighting

I used natural light. Nothing special, no flashes or set up. Jist light that was given in the area.

Equipment

Cannon tr-3, regular 35mm , I used items around to create shadows and reflect lights

Inspiration

I was trying to find inspiration for a college project, I'm not big on doing portrait work. I like abstract. And I just like how textured it came out. I like the texture images cause it just adds to the photo.

Editing

Yes I do a lot of editing in lightroom. I like to make photos become very abstract but I also like to make the colors pop out.

In my camera bag

Mostly just my camera, and my normal lens, I sometimes have plastic bags to use of lens blurs or light diffuser

Feedback

Just take chances on taking random photos try new views, dont rely too much on your equipment. You got to use your eye and just try just different framing and look for the odd looking items
