Nice shot and composition, Michael. Just a couple suggestions. I would like to see the water a bit smoother, by taking a few second longer exposure. I think you can brighten the water by desaturating the blue in Lightroom. You could also shift the yellow in the foliage ever so slightly to the green end. I think would give you more contrast between the water and the foliage and pop the image up nicely.
The overall tone seems a little dark to me, and could probably benefit from a sl higher exposure level, and some clarity to sharpen up the mid-tones a bit. I like the progression from dark to light as you look from top to bottom which gives a nice feeling of depth. The leaves in the upper right corner are slightly distracting and you may be able to clone out some of them, esp at the lower level. It would be hard to crop them out, as the other elements in the shot are so nice. An oval shaped darkening vignette would also draw the eye to the center to the flow of the water and perhaps not be so distracted by the edge elements. Keep up the good work, this type of shot has a lot of potential to be a very pleasing image.
