Behind The Lens
Location
The photo is taken at a studio that doesn't exist anymore in a torn down area of Stockholm where new houses have spread, making the area totaly different from the semiindustrial area it was before.Time
The photo is taken late afternoon and we had spent half a day to get the lighting right for this theme.Lighting
This lady was a shooting star in her genre and for my one opportunity to shoot with her, I wanted to take pictures that she hadn't done before and a very unique theme outside the comics or gaming world.Equipment
I use my trusted Nikon D3s and mostly fixed lenses, although I have later realized that I do need a 70-300 as well. In this shot I've used several studio lights, where the most special for the shot was the light far behind here, top down to blow light into the smoke from a smokemachine.Inspiration
Tekken and this model. Specialized in latex, so that came with the territory.Editing
As little as possible, but yes. There is some obivous edits for the right contrast and overall feel.In my camera bag
D3s, speedlights, pocket wizardz and mostly fixed lenses. A 50, a 85 a 120 DC and nowadays a 70-200 f2,8 VR2.Feedback
Think of the lighting and what you want to get out of the picture. You really need to see the light, direction, quality and size and balances.
