I love showcasing old or historical items especially ones that have lots of texture, wear and tear and color. I also wanted to showcase this plane from an unusual angle.Editing
Yes, I processed this photo in Lightroom to adjust contrast and exposure. Then moved it into Photoshop to dodge and burn various areas. Finally applied a tonal contrast through Nik ColorEfex.In my camera bag
As a novice photographer of only 8 months, I now have a bridge camera (Olympus SPP-100EE), which I am using to learn shooting on manual before I invest in a full dslr.Feedback
My best tip is to walk around objects like this ... shoot from every angle possible. I usually have an idea of what I want but sometimes I am surprised by what I've captured from shooting every which way but straight on. Most of all have fun!
