The inspiration is obviously the line-up in The Usual Suspects. I had let my hair and beard grow for 10 months when I finally decided it was time to stop. I took this portrait over the course of a morning, shaving and cutting my hair to different styles, and changing wardrobe for each persona.

Interestingly, because of the angle of the photo, just moving forward or back towards the wall a few inches also had an effect of my apparent height :)
