I took this picture at about 18:30, I do not remember exactly, it was in October and the weather was not the best.It is drizzling. . I just remember that I arrived just in time to catch the last shuttle leading to the castle. I had a few minutes to make some shots, little space on the memory card and the battery is low. However, I have not lost heart and I even managed to catch the last bus which reported to the nearest town.Lighting
The light was perfect. The sky was overcast and drizzling. The air was so damp rising fog. A magical atmosphere.Equipment

I was not prepared to such beauty. I was on holiday in Monaco with the woman who would become shortly thereafter my life partner and the mother of my child. She really wanted to visit the castle and I was in full "election campaign" so I decided to please her. But the gift I did much to me, realizing this shot. It was all so romantic, so I decided to name the picture "Cinderella did not live here anymore" because now she lives with me !!Editing
I do not remember exactly what kind of post I applied to the photo. Two years have passed from the shot and I love the photos always treated differently. I do not have a favorite preset. Surely I developed the file with Lightroom and then correct levels and definition with photoshop.In my camera bag
Lately I go out only with the Canon 5D Mk III with the 16-35mm, but when I travel I carry also the 70-200 and the 50mm. I recently started taking film mostly for personal projects, with an old 6x6 and a canon analog that recognizes my lenses.Feedback
I'm not one to give advicebut especially I do not have technical advice. I think we need to shoot much more than a digital camera or a good lens. Do not be trying the photo frenzy. My best photo I've never taken, but I've seen and enjoyed with eyes. The technique is not as important as our soul, without which the picture is just a picture done well, but nothing more. Work on you, what you are and what you want to communicate with photography
