At the time, I was using a Cannon 60D free hand with a kit lens. Lowered exposure time and it worked out nicely.Inspiration

I called myself Canonman because I use Canon 60D or 7D markII. Keep plenty of batteries and memory cards on hand. Some different lens and filters just in case it is needed.Feedback
Here's a tip for new photographers. The Bag is very important, make sure it has both hard and soft padding and when storing lens keep them on manual. (Learned this after loosing a lens). I now use a Domke bag that flipped out of the van at the airport and all my gear was protected.
