I had to stand in the perfect spot to get this photograph, the clouds were moving a little quick and the sun was getting close to being set!Equipment
This was shot in my canon eos rebel t3i. An older camera but it is good enough for me. A 35 mm lens was used and no filters or flash were involved.Inspiration
The sunsets in Cold Lake are always so beautiful and I always have my camera at hand, ready to take a shot. We were all swimming and watching the sunset and I knew this would turn our only good!Editing
Very little processing was used, contrast and brightness were upped a little bit but with a view like this not much need to be done at all.In my camera bag

Always work around angles. Take many photo at different angles or even just look through your viewfinder to find the perfect shot! Try to take every opportunity you can and any step you need to achieve the shot you picture in your head. Don't be afraid of looking silly in front of others to get what you want, but also enjoy the moment as you capture it.
