I waited for hours for her to come out of her hiding place. She knew I was there as I her. I noticed that she had pulled straw and leaves into an off cut of drainage pipe, I thought she was using this as a den. For the last half hour I could just see one eye looking at me through the straw. I did not expect curiosity to get the better of her and stick her head out but I got the image. I did not get images of her running up to me and check me out , she was well to fast for me and my camera.

Thank you, yes the flash fired . I was using a bridge camera and was inside a three sided barn so it was quite dark.
