I wanted to catch the mystery of this spot which has a historic background which goes back at least 1500 years ago when the Micy abbey was founded. The wall to the left is the enclosure of the abbey which is a convent nowadays. The foggy atmosphere which is frequent in this time of the year was helpfull to submerge the place into mystery and to filter the sunlight. My daughter who's riding horseback in the middle followed by our doggy help to give the photo a nowadays note. Everything is so peacefull in this place. That's what I wanted to capture. The converging lines of the wall, the road and even the treetops help to attract the eye towards the center of the photo.Editing

The above mentioned. And in rare occasions I use a 16-50mm / 50-200mm lensFeedback
Have an open eye. The equipment isn't really the most important. Even with my "old" Canon Powershot D10 I was able to take similar photos, be it a bit less tack-sharp.
