My Uncle had started with me on a Brownie Camera. I was hooked. We would go to Zoos, outdoors, family/friends and where-ever the camera would lead us. We looked liked tourist with cameras around out neck all the tine, Silly and or serious. Now I am into the digital Cameras with Photo shop. but I must say must of my photos are just natural. I would love suggestions and more ideas to improve my skills. over 90% I give my pharos to family and friends over the holidays. One technique I could love to learn is to take photos of various animals then to add various animal head. What fun and unique. I happen to see this in a magazine should have bought it to learn the technique. Can anyone help me out.

My email address it is ....faylady01@yahoo.com.

Thank you.

Behind The Lens

Location

The photograph was taken in Pelican Cove which is a gated community in Sarasota, Florida. This community it is surrounded by the Sarasota Bay, lush trees, tropical flowers and many one of the kind shrubbery. Also what is very unique about this community you will find many species of wildlife that are protected. Any given day you can be walking with your camera and then you will see a Peacock, Bald Eagle or an Fox just relaxing in the sunlight. Pelican Cove it is known for being an extremely over grown with greenery, wildlife and sunsets The residents are drawn here from all walks of life to live in this area. It is a true joy to be able to spend time in what is known as "Paradise".

Time

This photo was taken around 10 A.M. I sat on the ground to take the shot that was the most pleasing to me.

Lighting

Due to the many lush trees it was very shady in that area.

Equipment

My camera it is an Rebel and I also used an flash.

Inspiration

I love the outdoors to start with. I do not go out looking and hoping to take an photo of one peculiar thing. That is because each day we are gifted with so many unexpected joys. Example just the other day I was walking camera in hand, I looked above and found an Osprey protecting her children. What a delight.

Editing

No, this photo it is natural. With no adjustments.

In my camera bag

My zoom lens and my macro lens.

Feedback

I have been taken photos since a young child. I know that and I do have the ability to PhotoShop my photos, but I do not on 90% of them. The reason when I am outside I am taking photographs of Nature and Wildlife. It is what it is. For that I love and appreciate what we have on this Earth.
