I'm an aficionado of light and its effect on my photographic subject. The light on this occasion was subdued and beautiful and allowed me to photograph my subject without undue harshness from an overly bright sun.Equipment

I was on a small denizen safari in my backyard specifically hunting dragonflies and damselflies.Editing

I keep my Panasonic DMC-G6 and several lenses as well as extension tubes in my bag. I occasionally use a monopod or tripod for this kind of photography.Feedback
One really doesn't have to take photo jaunts to exotic places to capture good images. I'm a nature photographer by choice and when birds or larger animals won't cooperate I will venture into the closeup world of beautiful insects. The best advice any photographer can give is 'learn to see not just look'. Happy hunting!
