Behind The Lens
Location
This picture was taken in Lake Wales, FL from my front yard.Time
The time of day was around 2pm in the afternoon, on March 17, 2012.Lighting
I am a amateur photographer and don't know much about lighting.Equipment
I used a NIKON Coolpix P500 on auto mode setting. I did not use any other equipment, I just held the camera in my hands and took a shot.Inspiration
I was inspired to capture the airplane trails in the sky. Some people call them contrails or as I like to call them chemtrails. I noticed all the different style lines parallel in the sky so that was what I was trying to capture. I didn't even know the bird flying was even in the shot until I uploaded the pictures up later in the day. Once I noticed what had happened I instantly had a new favorite picture that I doubt I could ever capture again no matter how hard I tried.Editing
I did not do anything to the picture after I took except for uploading it on to my computer. I did not edit the picture in anyway, it is straight from the camera to you.In my camera bag
I usually just carry with me my camera, a extra battery, memory card, and some small cleaning wipes for my lens.Feedback
My advice for new photographers is take chances, follow your heart, and take lots of pictures. Before you delete your pictures off of your camera check them first on your computer. You might have missed something or see something later that you didn't see at the time of the shot. Nature changes so quickly so if you ever see a shot you want to take, stop and take it, don't wait cause it wont be there later. I also suggest to always carry your camera with you because the one time you leave it at home is when you miss the shot of a lifetime.
